To determine the size of your tank you will need to know the following:.
- Roof Catchment
- Water usage
- Local rainfall
Roof catchment
To calculate your rainwater harvesting capacity, multiply your roof area in square meters by annual average rainfall in your area. For example:
300 m2 of roof x 300mm of rain = 90,000 litres
